As you may know, a few weeks ago I enrolled in university.

Not a course. Not a certification. A full degree.

I turn 50 this year, and I’ve wanted this for a long time. But for years, I told myself that chapter had closed. Too old. Too late. Too busy running a business, keeping life afloat. You know the script.

It took longer than I’d care to admit but I realized I was wrong. I am not too old, late, or busy - I was just telling myself I was.

So, I gave myself permission to want something more—just for me.
