Blogging Myths 2025: What’s Actually True

Let’s talk about the bad advice that keeps getting repeated.

The “blogging is dead” crowd has been saying that since 2010. Meanwhile, the people posting once or twice a month are building trust, traffic, and sales—without relying on social media.

Other myths I hear in 2025:

  • You have to post every day. (You don’t.)
  • It’s too late to start. (It’s not.)
  • Nobody reads long posts anymore. (They do—if it’s worth their time.)

The truth? Blogging still works because people still search, still click, and still read. What’s changed is how we write and share it. It is time to ditch the fluff and write more useful and actionable content.

Stop letting those myths hold you back, and just get started.

P.S. Last week, I sent out a 2-minute survey about a new product coming in October—if you haven’t taken it, please do. If you have, please share with other online entreprenuers. I'd love the feedback.
